We ordered two pendant lights through Home Depot, coming from Uttermost. I researched online, many retailers seem to use uttermost including amazon.com, but we used Home Depot.



The lights themselves are okay, really pretty average. I'm very much a hands on DIY, long time home owner. The lights are made in China and one of them had a damaged canopy (part that attaches at the ceiling). The damage prevents the light from hanging straight, so it needs replaced. I emailed uttermost directly, using their online contact form. After 1 week, no response. I used the contact form again, after 1 week, no response. inexcusable! Even if you reply something like "see your retailer or place of purchase" you still need to reply!!



Their website mentions a facility in China, almost boasts about it. The lights are expensive $160 each which, I think is too much coming from China and maybe this damage is indicative.



If this one experience is a sample of their level of service, then I would avoid doing business with them. Sadly, my lone complaint likely won't make a difference. Good Luck.
