Coosa Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It offers academic programs in English, mathematics, science and technology education. The school additionally conducts social studies and health and physical education classes. Coosa Middle School also offers English for Speakers of Other Languages and special education programs, as well as gifted and talented education.
