And as far as the courteous attendents that the web site and good review lied about, were also terrible and far below acceptable standards. They were not helpful at all even for matters as small as a additional roll of toliet paper (because there was none in the room originally). I had to almost have an arguement with a gentlemen that spoke little to no english over an xtra towel, and a rag. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. They dont even have working vending machines, or DO NOT DISTURB signs. Please consider all other options before subjecting yourself to such a terrible uncomfortable hotel that does not care for or respect, nor are they grateful for there patrons. I have given all this info so anyone considering staying at Kings Inn will know truthfully what to expect and not make the same mistake I did.

I recently had to come to Rome Ga. for an emergency trip. I had to find a hotel on short notice so I went to My Bell South Yellow Pages website to look for a hotel. I came across The Kings Inn, it seemed very nice from the web site, they advertised very nice rooms and also showed very nice pictures of nice, clean, cozy rooms that included balconys, very nice beds, comfortable soft chairs, a couch, a very nice view (please see the web site they look immaculate) they advertised that they were within walking distance of McDonalds, and other eating establishments, so it sounded great and looked good online too. And you should have seen the look on my wifes face when we finally got here after a very long trip and we pulled up to a run down, dirty, bug infested room, that was nothing like what was advertised, no balcony, no clean, no coziness, no comfort, no couches, no view, and McDs is 3 miles down the road, you walk that, a very hard bed, the toilet paper roll wasnt even full. The rooms/hotel are nothing like what is advertised, King Inn should be charged with false advertising, and please dont be decived by the good review this hotel was given it was obviously written by an employee/owner (notice the name). The rooms are terrible and i would not recomend this hotel to anyone.And the web site is a complete lie.

We have recently purchased a room here at The Kings Inn motel located on Martha Berry Highway. We called a day before we arrived asking such questions as, "Are there any rooms available, and to what costs." We were instantly greeted by a kind gentleman. He answered our questions smoothly and accordingly, helping us with all we needed. We finally arrived at six in the evening and went up to the front desk. Not only were we greeted quickly and friendly, but he also helped in getting us a room on the first floor. We got our keys and headed to the room. Opening the door we were surprised at just how nice the room was, everything to the final detail was put in place and set out perfectly. Within ten minutes of settling down in the room and inspecting it throughly, our phone rings, I answer it and the same gentleman I had talked to in order to get the room greets me over the phone and asks how the room looks and inquires wether everything is up to standard, I laughed and told him everything was Exceptional. As a closure I would put forth that anyone who is looking for a nice, clean, friendly, affordable motel to stay in for a night, a week, or even longer then that, should consider staying at the Kings Inn.
