Provided by YP.comThis is the smaller of the two Salvation Army thrift stores in Rome.
Mondays are hectic - it is free day and it is hard to check out so I never shop on Mondays.
There is no bathroom. The store is older and is usually fairly clean.
The staff sometimes have bad days with the clients and can take it out on the other customers who are just trying to shop.
Things get fairly picked over before they hit the floor. I've been told by more than one former employee that jewelry and the more expensive or nicer items never make the floor but are instead grabbed by the employees.
Watch prices - occasionally this store will ask more for a few items than they are worth new. A lot depends on the employee working, even though prices are posted, often prices are made up on the spot, especially if staff suspects that you might be a reseller. It would help if prices posted were enforced across the board.
