While every business strives for perfection, mistakes happen. It is how you respond when these things happen.
The management at this location should be commended and praised. They were absolutely amazing.
I had my oil changed June 18th. When that was completed, I drove home. The next morning, on my way to work, the skirt / skid plate under the engine dropped. I had to stop, in the rain, and zip-tie in place to drive to work.
I work 0430-2100, Saturday-Monday, so this morning was the first time I could get back to the shop.
Imagine how it made me feel. When I was driving around, to line up to pull in the bay, I overheard the staff staying, “He was here just the other day, let’s see how we can help him”. They had no idea that I could hear them.
In most circumstances, you would expect the proverbial “Oh hell” “What the hell does he want”. But not at this store. Let it be known that they even remembered me before I even pulled in the bay.
Management immediately asked me the situation, they checked to see who mounted the skid plate and immediately starting to assess the problem. They fixed it and then explained what happened cause the problem.
Out of 100 customers, they may make one or two mistakes. It’s how you address them that makes your business better and shows the culture of your business.
I will continue use this store as my “pit crew”.
