The saying,"you get what you pay for" has never been truer than in this place!  Truthfully, you get much less than you pay for and I wonder if the low prices is the reason that the various stylists don't seem to know or care how they cut your hair. I've tried several at the Ronkonkoma location in the past year and each one has either not listened to what I wanted, not concentrated b/c she was too busy talking or she just didn't know what she was doing.   What is it about "please just take off just a quarter inch on top" that is so was so difficult to understand??? Or "please don't cut it short, no more than this ( and i actually showed her the amount to cut)! One time I took a picture of what I wanted.  But each time I had to wait at least 2 months b4 I needed another haircut and went back to try another stylist.  I think I only was really pleased once or twice and then she, too, ended up scalping me!  No more. I may end up paying more someplace else, but at least I'll walk out with hair I can manage!  Also, if you think those women know how to cut the latest styles, think again.  The boss doesn't pay for them to train for the latest techniques or styles and the stylists don't want to pay for the training themselves. I guess they feel like its not worth it. Sad.
