Warning! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!



I purchases a groupon for this "business" as I had a trip to Reno and needed a ride home upon coming back.



I booked a reservation with the extremely rude Bob via email (after being told to do so after our phone call). It took about a week for him to get back to me through email (after I emailed him multiple times to confirm my reservation). He said that he indeed did send a confirmation of my reservation already (I had checked all inboxes an spam boxes, I received nothing) and minutes after his response, I received a confirmation of my pick up reservation. (clearly he did not send it in the first place).



I figured all was okay and I was ready to be picked up at the airport, but I guess I was wrong. My flight arrived into LaGuardia and I get an email alert saying that my reservation was cancelled due to nonpayment from groupon. Firstly, the fact that he would email me, cancelling my reservation, instead of giving me a call goes to show how terrible of a business this truly is. Had he asked if I wanted to pay full price and take up the matter with Groupon itself, I would have been happy to do so. Instead, I was left stranded at the airport for 3 hours trying to find another ride home.



The controversy of them not receiving payment should not result in cancelling my reservation, as I had already paid for the groupon voucher. Bob should have taken this up with them.



Please avoid this "company" at all costs and go with someone else!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! I should have read these reviews before I bought a groupon. The owner Bob is the worst! I was supposed to be picked up at JFK, when I got there had a text message that Bob had a family emergency and I should call Dial 7, and pay them and Bob would reimburse me! I had already paid for the service and should have been only paying for tip and tolls. I had no other choice than to pay it, or be stuck at JFK, I emailed Bob numerous times and he kept saying he would mail me a money order, never received. I was issued a refund from groupon, but that did not cover the cost.
