Established in 1981, Phoenix School offers services to at-risk youths who wish to continue their education. It provides educational services to more than 230 students. The school offers classes in English, social studies, science and math. It provides grief and substance and sexual abuse counseling, as well as assistance services. The school offers support services to help students with life issues, such as drug and alcohol abuse intervention and therapeutic counseling. Phoenix School is supported by public donations, grants and public education funds. Additionally, Phoenix School offers vocational programs, such as natural resource management, adventure discovery, culinary arts, computer science, and plant nursery and landscaping.
