Ended up not using this company, but I will in the future. Had to get my father to Johns Hopkins quickly, and another service was faster, but the dispatcher was so kind and communicated so clearly. I really appreciate this company’s professionalism.

Tonight I had the worst experience with Atwater Cab since I began riding with them over a decade ago. The nightmare was the dispatcher - he said his name was Brian - who was rude, dropped the F-bomb twice and seems to be clueless about handling time calls.
I called Atwater around 1 and placed a time call with Dina for 5 p.m. I called back at 4:50 to confirm that a cab was coming and a very angry "Brian" insisted on telling how he was left with 4 drivers and he didn't have anyone in Dundalk right now. I tried to remind him I wasn't at home (in Dundalk) but at work and my building was about to be locked, I would be standing outside (and completely alone). Brian didn't allow me to tell him those things, he yelled that I was preventing him from answering his phones, that people have places to go, but he can't get them there if he's stuck on the phone with me. Me - the person with the time call who ALSO had somewhere to go. Brian, for some reason, didn't view me as a real customer.
As of 5:35 he still didn't have a cab on the way, so I called Jimmy's Cab. At 5:45 I was on my way home.
I don't know how much the Atwater owners care about treatment of their customers; I hope someone speaks with Brian about how he communicates with their customers. Also, have someone teach him how to handle time calls.

I called at 2:23 pm today to be picked up at Ollies on Merritt Blvd. After 30 minutes I called again. Was informed will be there in a few minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes I called a friend. A cab arrived a few minutes after that. I said no thank. Been waiting in 90° weather. Terrible service. The only time you get good service is if you call the night before pickup.
