I was a former driver a few years ago Durham trys very hard to please everyone but it has issues such as 3 min wait time only per stop ..which means 3 minutes from time we hit the front dor location we wait 3 mins if not ready we are to leave otherwise the arrivel times at schools offer cause the kids to miss a meal before lunch with traffic and delays out on the road some do try but theres drivers who dont as well offen late all the time caus3 they get lost or just dont know the routes wh7ch offen ocures when a driver calls out and another neds to take the route as well as hoking up the disabled kids in wheelchairs takes time lowing and raising ramps ofen blocked with cars along the homes locations im not making excuses or no longer working with them as the school board personeel at downtown offen does not support us with uncontrolable kids or dropoffs that dont have a parent to acept the kids home which caus3s us to wait for contact as we can not leaveva kid unatended.and another thing we are not allowed to use tunnel with bus load of kids onboard as per City school admin .id rather be on a controlled road incase some breakdown or mishap instead of being on streets of baltimore in some unsafe neiborhoods as well but thats what we do .....these are our issues and concerns I hope I didnt offend you but tese are what to except outa just about all the bus companys out there .....some are better but there pretty much all the same take carehope this post sheds some light on your issue [email protected]
