Its an accepted fact that construction runs late, over budget and that corners are cut. Well, I'm in the midst of a HUGE project with Bob and his team and all i get are accolades. retired contractor relatives marvel at the corners not cut. neighbors tell me they are neat, polite and are there every single day working. The quality is superb, and they are on schedule. Are there unknowns? Sure - its part of the fun opening up 60+ year old structures.

Not only is their own work excellent, but Bob seems to have a trusted set of specialist subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC etc.) and each one so far has proven to be first rate.

I'm sure you can find a cheaper contractor - and then either pay in poor quality or significant over-runs and upgrades. Or you can get a true craftsman to do it right the first time. Nearly four months in I can give Vanbenschoten and Lynch my highest recommendation.
