1. POOR quality paint job. Bumper was not fully clear-coated. 1 inch imperfections on paint.
2. NO Customer Service. Never follow-up on the progress & delays. No apologies for MAJOR DELAYS.
3. Major delay when promised job to be done the same day (4 days to paint a bumper, what a joke).
Long Story: (all conversations with Johnny in mandarin)
FRIDAY
Called for a quote to get an aftermarket bumper painted. Spoke with owner, Johnny. Johnny says $200 and if I rush in before 12 noon it can be done the same day.
I rush in, Johnny now wants $300 for the extra prep work needed. I agreed.
4:30PM, no call from Johnny. I call. Says the bumper won't be done till Saturday morning.
SATURDAY
2PM, no call. I call Johnny. Not even a sorry from him, "bumper won't be done till Tuesday morning" click.
TUESDAY
4PM, bumpers finally done. Went in to pick it up. By now I was p*ssed, it was obvious that he just finished the job 3 hours ago.
a. Bumper was not fully clear-coated b/c Johnny decided to skimp out on his labor...dur?
b. 2 x 1 inch imperfections in paint b/c Johnny let the bumper sit on a stand before the paint could cure...dur?
So I complain, wanted $100 reimbursement for sh*t quality job (need to have another shop re-do the bumper).
Johnny agrees to the reimbursement but has the nerve to tell me never to come back to his shop ever again...WTF? Someone needs to take Customer Service 101.
Please please take my advice and stay away from this shop. With how much Johnny's charging you, you may as well hit up body shops that do quality work and who won't jerk you around for 4 days for a bumper paint job...
