I was appalled by the attitude of the branch manager. On 9/11, I visited the Rosenberg, Ave H location and requested a premium vehicle that I would need for a 9 day period, beginning on 9/18 (Chrysler 300, Nissan Maxima, Chevy Impala, or Toyota Avalon). I emphasized the fact that I did not want an SUV or a mid size or compact. I stopped by again on 9/16 to remind the staff that I wanted a premium vehicle and did not want an SUV. I was promised by the branch manager that I would be called on the morning of the 18th and would be told what kind of vehicle they had been able to get for me. We agreed that I would pickup the rental at 2 pm on the 18th. No call came in on the 18th until 1:30 pm. I needed to leave town no later than 3 pm, and when the call finally came in, it was to inform me that they had obtained a Nissan Rogue (a small SUV) for me. I arrived at the Rosenberg Enterprise location at 2 pm and let the branch manager know that the Rogue was not acceptable and that I was very upset. I never resorted to profanity, but made it clear that I felt I was receiving sub par service, because I was not called as promised in the morning and was being for all intents and purposes "forced" to accept a vehicle that I had clearly stated would not be acceptable. The branch manager asked, do you want it or not? When I said "No, this is not what was agreed on," he turned around and walked away from me. INCREDIBLE! I followed him and asked him to get back on the phone and try to find me another vehicle. He said no. and again asked, "Do you want the car or not?"
