I needed my bangs cut really bad and stopped by this place because I saw it from the road and they were so friendly and helpful at the front desk and if you need a quick service like a bang trim they get you in and out without an appointment. This pace has an awesome atmosphere so clean and I felt like writing a review because I felt very welcomed here and my stylist took her time to make sure I was happy even on such a small simple project. I can't wait to come back when I need my hair done! The prices are all individual so if you get color and don't need a blow dry you only pay for color that's a great option to have!

We go to Shades for coloring and couldn't be happier. Everyone is so friendly with VIP treatment. We love Garretson!

My daughter and I had our hair cut and colored. We each had different stylist. Both of our colors came out beautifully but my cut was not done well. I like how each services is priced separately and its discussed beforehand. The free hair drying and styling area is a fantastic idea.

I LOVE this place! Elaine is an AMAZING hair/color stylist! She cuts my hair as well as my daughters and ALWAYS does a WONDERFUL job! Great prices and I LOVE all of their hair products.

I found 'Cole' at SHADES COLOR BAR about a year ago and have never been happier with the outcome of my haircuts and highlighting. The atmosphere is quiet and uplifting and I feel like I've had a social outing when I'm finished. They are very courteous and helpful at the front desk - Even offering cold drinks. Shades prices are well below other places I've gone in Roseville but expertise is excellent. Occasionally I've had to cancel and appointment and the receptionist has been extremely pleasant offering to make one for another day. I also like being able to schedule online and then receive a phone call to verify and choose another date or time. I've recommended many friends and they too have been completely satisified. Sooo glad I found this fantastic place.

Now that I have to cover my greys more often it was getting expensive until I found Shades. They will touch up my roots for $32. and do a fantastic job! I don't need a hair cut every time or a blow dry and style, so I don't have to pay for them. Most salons were charging me over $100. just because they were drying my hair too! I love the al a carte pricing. They are friendly and talented. They store is bright and cheery as well!

I was looking for a new place to get my hair done, where I could save a little money. Shades was recommended by a friend; specifically, Danielle. I walked away with a haircut and color that I love as well as a savings of about $40 (compared to my previous stylist). Shades offers "a la carte" services, which helped with the savings. I chose not to get my hair dried at the salon which saved me $20. I highly recommend them!!
