Do not use!
I have a 22 year old furnace that had a bad Ignitor Locout unit. They charged me $597. I looked online and they go for $147-$199 retail and $93 wholesale!
And then they told me that my furnace might only last a few days and could start spewing Carbon Monoxide. I asked him to show me the leaks and he could only point out "potential" failures.
He then tried to bait me with refunding the $600 if I bought a new furnace within a few days.
Shady business.

Service guy came out spent an hour looking over my system told me I needed a new furnace that mine was not repairable. Company quoted me a new furnace then told me I had to add a new ac unit also as the old one wouldn’t be compatible with the new furnace. Called another company for a second opinion and they came out and fixed my furnace in 5 mins.

I came home from a doctor's appointment on Friday to a cold house. It wasn't a windy day and in the past that was the cause of a blown out pilot. I checked and the pilot was out on the 22 year old furnace. I used to relight it myself but it's tricky and I'm a little more cautious as I get older. C&C sent Dave R out within the hour. He lit the pilot checked the amps and found that the motor was not performing efficiently. He advised me that he couldn't guarantee that the pilot would stay lit and gave me the price of a new motor. After asking a few questions and getting some very professional answers from Dave, I decided that this was the time to get a new furnace/air conditioner because I worried that they would both expire soon after 22 year. Dave informed me of a pricing special that had been in effect a few months ago and I signed up for the deal. Today is Monday and there are two polite
professionals working on my install as I review Dave's visit. So I'm a happy customer right now and will review their work in a few days.

Excellent service. Prompt, everything explained well. Very satisfied. New unit replaced 19 year old a/c. Provided with clear options on best to purchase. Also took care of my concern about replacing a thermostat with one that would not require reprinting around it as the new ones are smaller.

Installation of my new a/c unit did not go without a hitch. They refused to wear their booties because they said it was too much work taking them off and putting them on. I insisted my carpet was not getting ruined. They finally put tarp on my carpet but nothing on my basement steps so basement got full of wet grass. Then when they were done they called me outside to see the new unit. The first thing I noticed was my crushed downspout one of the men stepped on. What, are you blind? I let it go. Then I noticed the new unit was scratched more than I liked thanks to them putting their tools all over it while they were working. I let it go. Then the inspector came out to inspect the work and noticed the workers had knocked my hot water tank loose (screws and all) while they worked on the furnace. The inspector said I had a carbon monoxide leak and it was good I hadn't dropped dead. C & C came out and fixed it. The a/c works great which is what I care about most.

C and C Heating and Cooling Co. is a great company to assist anyone that needs home or business heating and/or cooling. I have been a customer for 18 years and I have always found their technicians to be knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Very thorough and courteous service.
Job well done. He didnd't try to sell me a new furnace filter because he thought ours was good for another 6 months.
Also, reminded us that our CO detector should be placed in our bedroom versus our basement. Very alert.

Woke up to a cold house, furnace would not turn on. C & C got to my house within a couple hours and diagnosed the issue. I chose not to replace the blower motor on an 18 year old unit. Instead I chose to replace it with a 95% efficient unit. I could not be happier! The installers were professional putting tarps down my newly carpeted stairs. My new furnace is quiet and heats the house way more efficiently. C & C filled out the utility rebate forms for me and Consumers & DTE sent me checks within 4 weeks of my install. Great furnace at a great price with the rebates!

So, of course on New Years Eve, our furnace went out. My husband, being in the trade, has been repairing it for 10 years. Now unrepairable, we needed a new one. After careful research, we knew we wanted a Trane or Lennox. C&C Heating sent out owner "Jim" who came in with all his passion, and offered us an awesome deal on a Trane furnace and new AC unit (which ours was going to be needed to replaced soon). Amy , from the front office, worked diligently with us to get us financing choices ( 12 mo same as cash or 10 yrs at 9.9% ) and directly through, well known, Wells Fargo! Dennis and Joe came in to our very tight tri-level, removed the old and installed the new, meticulously with care. Contientous to my to my bird and children's welfare; respectful of my home at ALL times! They went out if their way to maximize space, clean up ugly piping and feeds (that they could have left as is), rerouted piping to be aesthetically satisfying and maximize performance, zip tied everything, carefully caulked, replaced thermostat flawlessly preventing me the need to repaint, left NO spot of any mess, removed all debris and even saved my stepping stones (old A/C pad they relocated for me to use in garden) during new pad installation for A/C. Arrived on time, friendly, diligent, well spoken, super clean young men! WHAT A REFRESHING PLEASURE! Oh, and almost forgot the two separate awesome young men, who had to come deliver material to our job site, as it was a holiday weekend and they were pulling from various warehouse locations to get us what we wanted and needed. THANK YOU C&C!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Terrible customer loyalty

was a customer since the 90's bought 4 systems and 5 recommendations. A installer came out to do spring tune up a/c unit and furnace worked he came out then the furnace fan didn't cut on and a/c didn't start. Told him that was weird it was working now not. He called me a liar then left. I called a buddy he said common problem he probably dropped the furnace door down to hard and bent it so the pin didn't connect. That was the issue. I don't know if he did it on purpose or not. Why else would you just storm out of my house. C&C sent another tech out who I've known for years and I told him what happened he finished tune up service did some work to apologize for the Last tech on C&C dime. Thought it was all good I didn't make a big stink, next thing you know they cancelled me without a reason and never talked to me. I thought that was the worst case of business management I have ever seen you dump a 20yr customer over an techs mistake instead of holding the tech at fault. Sad way C&C is starting to go. Loved the company but I think they backed a bad tech and will never recommend again...
