Unfortunately I have been a neighbor of 2 projects in the last 12 months (Grosse Pointe Farms). They have gone on forever, a year plus. The workers could care less about the neighbors, blocking driveways, parking on both sides of the street which makes it difficult to get deliveries of packages, mail, etc. In addition, the "general contractor" is rarely on site. Our entire block has listened to the alarm of the most recent job site all weekend which is obviously annoying. And...many days go by with no workers/activity on the project.
