They cold called me, and I am a coin/gold collector for over 30 yrs and lied to be in attempts to sell me coins that are preforming at the bottom rung of the market at a 40 percent mark up. How are they still in business?

Truman and company is one of the worst, dishonest companies around. The fact that they supposedly have an A+ rating with the BBB makes me sick to my stomach. Both my father and I, do to our lack of knowledge were manipulated, ripped off and straight up lied to by this company. And after doing my research it seems we are only two of many that this company has blatantly taken advantage of. All I can do unfortunately is try and get the word out there to people who are thinking of dealing with Truman by telling my story.A broker from Truman took advantage of my father and I due to our lack of knowledge at the time to the fullest extent. They prey on they’re ability to over price, decide not to disclose very important information regarding government regulations and taxation with the items they sold us and many others I’m sure. We were not only conveniently not told about the implications of the materials we were purchasing and guided in the direction to most profit the company, and in turn put us into the wrong segment of the gold and silver market at very unreasonable prices. My father being elderly was unfortunately taken advantage of more than me, assuming because he was more vulnerable to they’re manipulation. After I had realized how badly we were taken advantage of I attempted to contact them and trade up what they had sold me for what was actually the “right” gold and silver to be into. They then proceeded to try and give me about %75 of the worth of my current materials and then up charge me premiums of up to %40 on what I was asking to be traded into. All I can do, because they didn’t technically do anything illegal, is warn people. After educating myself on the gold and silver market I truly found out how badly we had been manipulated, they have absolutely no concern for the client and are only manipulating people into buying and trading what is best for they’re profits. Fortunately I have found some more legitimate companies in MN that have treated me much better. A few that I have found to reputable are IRI (investment rarities inc), the New York Mint, GCC (Golden Coin company), and Asset Management.
