Stay AWAY! The ladies in the office are absolutely wonderful, but the owner, Tony, and his field manager, Derrick, are incredibly ill-mannered and dishonest. It was very obvious to me that their work standard is that the “the customer is always WRONG.” For my initial visit, Derrick showed up at 1:30, when I had made it very clear that I would not be available before 2:00. Then, after rescheduling for the following day, he failed to show up, and didn’t even have the decency or professionalism to call me with an explanation, apology, SOMETHING. He then ignored MY call, as well as all of his staff’s attempts to contact him, via voicemail, e-mail, and texts. The next day, I awoke to a message from Derrick, TELLING me to “call the office to schedule this thing.” But, still no explanation, no apology, no nothing. Of course, I DIDN’T reschedule, since any company that blows TWO chances to make a good first impression is a shoddy one, at best. However, I did call Tony, the owner of Active, to make sure he knew how badly his “manager” had handled the situation; he immediately started babbling about his 17 years in business, and how he’ll “never be able to make” me “happy (nor did he try)”! He then had the audacity to tell me that my rescheduled appointment with Derrick wasn’t definite. (Really? Then why did Derrick confirm the appointment with me three times in the same conversation?!). I just told him he’s an a-- and hung up on him. No WONDER they were running a big special –- they need business!
