Prudential Georgia Realty is an independently owned and operated member of The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates and is recognized as one of the top 100 real estate companies in the United States. Originally named Crest Realty, the company was founded in 1963 by Edward Erbesfield with one office and eight sales associates. In 1984, Merrill Lynch Realty acquired Crest Realty and became a major force in the Atlanta Real Estate industry. Subsequently, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates acquired Merrill Lynch Realty in 1989. Since the acquisition, it has grown the company to nearly 20 offices and more than 1,200 sales professionals serving key markets from the North Georgia Mountains to midtown Atlanta, the Southern crescent and everywhere in between. Prudential Georgia Realty is located in Roswell, Ga., where it employs nearly 50 people.
