The school provides a hands-on, interdisciplinary approach to learning, a low student-teacher ratio and multiage classrooms. It offers a wide variety of cocurricular programs that include art, music, technology, environmental science, Spanish, library science and physical education. As a nonprofit organization, High Meadows School is governed by a board of directors elected for a three-year term by the High Meadows community. Representation on the board includes parents and head of schools. High Meadows School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, Southern Association of Independent Schools, Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools and the Georgia Independent School Association. The school was founded in 1973.

Provided by YP.comHigh Meadows is set on 40+ acres of meadows and woods with school buildings scattered around. The classes are small and intimate, fostering conversation and a love of learning. If you want your child to learn, grow and enjoy discovering new things then High Meadows is a great place to send them.
