Dr. Maurice W. Geldert A native of New Orleans, La., Dr.Geldert is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and Southern College of Optometry. He is a Fellow, American Academy of Optometry, and has received numerous professional rewards. Dr. Geldert is a member of the American Optometric Assn., and the N.M. Optometric Assn, and has held every elective position, including President, at the state level. Dr. Geldert and his wife Mary reside in Roswell. He is an avid gardener and bicyclist, and enjoys opera, theater, and ballet as well. In 2007 Dr. Geldert was ordained as an Episcopal Priest, and assists in small churches in Lincoln County (no, he's not leaving practice!).
