We hired them to do landscaping around the pool we had put in last year. What was once a muddy, yucky mess around the pool is now really nice landscaping that works well with the pool. They put in areas for specific needs we had- a patio/lounging area, a outdoor kitchen/bar area, and a grassy area for the kids to play in. They conquered the drainage issues we had around the pool when it rains and the whole thing just looks so fabulous. Highly recommended!

We hired Austin Outdoor Solutions to redo our patio and spruce up the landscaping in our backyard. They did a terriffic job all the way around. They did a great quote - and came in at what they quoted with is not ususally the case with landscaping companies (in my experience, anyway). They just made the yard look terrific and the masonry they did on our patio is just fabulous. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We had AOS landscape around our new pool, add a deck, and put in a sprinkler system. They were great to work with and I really felt they cared about what they were doing. Mid project they got really busy and were very careful to check in with me on the status of our project and let me know what all was going on. After the job was completed, we had some problems with one of the zones on the sprinkler and they came back out and fixed it without any hassle which I really appreciated. I would definately use them again.

Despite the fantastic comments we received from AOS provided references, our experience was a polar opposite of those. In short, I would not recommend AOS for any project, regardless of size.



In summary, we were misled and the overall experience was stressful and challenging. I can only say that either their business practices are questionable OR they are incompetent. We were asked for additional money once the project was begun and after the work was completed. Once we signed a contract and gave 30% down, we could almost never get a return call or a return email and had to perpetually hound them for responses. There were many, many promises broken throughout the project which at 10k I don���t consider to be a small project. Promise after broken promise resulted in a slipped start date six weeks after the promised date. And what was to be completed in 5 days took almost three weeks. After completing the project, final changes were never done and the company never returned as promised, likely, they had all their money. Lastly, compared to the portfolio of work, our finished workmanship was poor and the materials were thinned out, e.g. ����� of mulch in beds as opposed to a proper bed dressing.



My advice is to stay clear of this company.
