I am a semi-serious beader. I have been craft beading for 20 years. This store has the best prices if you buy a lot of beads, but even new beaders will find good prices. Strands start at $1, $2, and go gradually higher as you get close to the store clerks. I love the silver colored charms, at $4 a bag. I go so much, I've learned where they are located in their original boxes and bags under the massive pile table, so I don't have to sort to find the beads I use most. This is also a good place to find cheap earring backs (plastic kind- 100+ for $4, earring hooks, and simple chord or chain necklaces). The friends I've brought with me to shop end up coming back for more! The staff doesn't seem to speak a lot of English, but Jim is very friendly, and even has given my toddler cookies when we come in. You just have to make am effort to make small talk if you want to connect to the staff.
