I find it appauling that this grocery chain would fire a war veteran for retrieving one of their customers purses from a criminal. I understand that they say that they are just concerned for the safety of their employees and customers. They say that the person could have had a gun and shot the Veteran and/or a Customer but, that could have happened with or without him chasing him down and you would not have control over or be responsible for that after all, we are in Texas. NO ONE was hurt and this Man has served his country with honor and should not have to pay for a little mistake, that caused no harm, with his job. Show a little compassion Randall's. Go over the policy again with your employee's again and re-instate this young Man in his job. Me and my Family will be shopping elsewhere until we see that you have.
