I would never recommend Scott & White hospitals to anyone because of the way they charge you they charge you as if you were in the hospital so your doctor co-pays do not apply you have to pay your entire deductible and out-of-pocket expense before your insurance company will pick up a dollar of the Scott & White hospitals they do not tell you that that's the way they bill when I talked to the Federal Trade Commission about them and the Better Business Bureau about them both of them said if you ever feel that anyone is treating you unfairly and especially if they are charging you unfairly to make a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and to the Better Business Bureau which I did on Scott and White because of their billing practices but this is not limited to Scott & White if you feel it anyone has done wrong by overcharging or by not telling you the full story of what they're going to do I would recommend and so would the Federal Trade Commission that you file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and with the Better Business Bureau

Please be aware that when you go to the doctor's offices of Scott & White Health care, you will be charged by the doctor's office AS WELL as the Hospital/Facility...even if you don't even step foot into the hospital.



I have since changed doctors and my fees are nowhere near what they were at Scott & White. It's crazy. Highly recommend seeking other Health Care options.
