Gater Unlimited is located in Rowley, Iowa and caters to physically challenged individuals.  We modify wheelchairs and other equipment to make it more functional, and design and fabricate custom equipment for any application.  Gater Unlimited was created by Chris Gates.  Chris lives with Progressive MS and is confined to a wheelchair.  Using his ingenuity and engineering skills, he has managed to turn his home into a useful space and modify the machines in his workshop into tools he can use to help others.  Using these tools, he has designed remote controlled lifts that help individuals board tractors or use the shower, cranes that move large items around his shop, pto hitches that enable individuals to change implements for their tractor without leaving their seat, and much, much more. We can design any type of custom equipment that addresses the needs of a physically challenged individual.  We do not limit ourselves to any one type of equipment.  We take your dreams and goals, identify your specific physical barriers, and design a custom solution.  As you look through our website and some of the solutions we have crafted throughout the years, we’d like you to think about your own life and your own unique challenges.  Are there moments in your day that would be made easier, safer, more fun, or more productive with the help of a tool?
