My late husband and I have been Spuds guests for 25 years. We used to go every Thursday night. We would have their buffalo chicken wings which are the best in the area. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. The food is great. Since my husband passed away a few years ago, it is my place to sit and enjoy dinner with friends. It is the North Shore version of "Cheers". If you are over 60, Wednesday is Senior Discount day. It is just fun come experience it for yourself.

My husband and I have been coming here for 15 yrs! We have absolutely loved it! No complaints at all! Food was always good, management always wonderful, wait staff friendly right on top of things! The past year, however, this place is the total opposite of that. I Don't know what has happened but the food is horrible...seems like every other time we go in the meat or fish is over/under cooked or we are hearing someone from a close booth complain of it . lot of the times it doesn't even taste like food nemore and portions are getting smaller and smaller. Very few of the wait staff that was always cheery, sociable and quick r there now. Instead they are bringing in these waitresses and waiters who don't seem 2 know what day it is never mind remebern what u wanted!! We ALWAYS have to wait for a server to come greet us. We waited one day for 15 min...other servers were just walkn right by and nobody said anything to us!!!! Management is horrible. There is a woman manager there who is fairly new. The way it use to be, if we had a problem a manager would very nicely come over and take care of it. This woman gave us the BIGGEST attitude!!! She made us feel as though we were bothering her. Maybe interrupting her sitting at the bar having social time!! I have to say I never in a million years thought spuds would be like this!! What happened to the days when it was a nice experience to eat there.
