The Children's Community Support Collaborative organizes and manages a care system for emotionally disturbed children and their families. The collaborative provides services through affiliations with various community mental health centers and local youth clubs. It also offers residential and after-school programs. The Children's Community Support Collaborative is located in Brighton, Mass., and is a part of The Home for Little Wanderers, a nationally renowned, private, nonprofit child and family service agency that offers a wide range of services, including adoption, case management, and foster and residential care. Additionally, the agency offers clinical and family support services that include substance abuse counseling, medication evaluation, and psychological and neuropsychological testing. It also provides treatment for a variety of stresses, including relationship and school problems, depression, anxiety, behavior disorders, substance abuse issues, family violence and emotional traumas.
