I made a phone call to see if I could get some baseball cards appraised. I told him that I didn't currently have the cards in my possession (they were with my husband) and was wondering if I could bring them in later. After explaining that however, he asked what year they were. I again told him I didn't have them, and was wondering if I could bring them in (they are all together in a three-ring binder). He then proceeded to tell me, in a rather condescending tone, that the cards were most likely not worth more than the binder itself. Throughout the entire phone conversation he had a rather short tone and was very condescending. I don't know if he figured that since I am a female that I was not educated in baseball cards, and thought that I just wanted to waste his time, but I did not appreciate his curtness with me. I never brought my cards into him and do not ever anticipate in doing so.
