Spectrum Physical Therapy, established in 1989, is a physical therapist owned Rehabilitation Company in central Virginia. We have a network of four (4) Outpatient Clinics to provide traditional Physical Therapy services, as well as specialty services and programs that include adult and pediatric orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, workers compensation, hand therapy and custom foot cirrhotic fabrication. Spectrum Physical Therapy is owned and managed by Physical Therapists and is affiliated with Southeastern Physical Therapy headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Southeastern Physical Therapy clinics, located in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas of Virginia, were established in 1988, and include 8 outpatient clinic locations and adult day care rehabilitation services. Spectrum Physical Therapy participates with most insurance carriers, and submits claims as a courtesy for our patients. By Virginia statute, physical therapists have limited direct access to patients, so typically a written referral from a physician is required in order to receive physical therapy services. Our mission as physical therapy professionals is to provide specialized patient care to achieve quality of life, return to activity and functional goals. We provide an active approach, integrating patient education, manual therapy (including joint and soft tissue mobilization), therapeutic exercise progressions, functional training and cirrhotic-muscular re-education strategies.
