Ruidoso High School provides academic and extracurricular programs for students in grades nine through 12. Based in Ruidoso, N.M., it offers fine arts, physical training, journalism, foreign language, internships, and other elective courses. The school offers advanced placement classes in English, math, science and history. Each classroom is equipped with computers with Internet access, television monitors, closed circuit/cable television and satellite down linking capability. Ruidoso High School provides an array of student support services, including student health, guidance and counseling, tutoring, special education, bilingual education, section 504 and advisory program.
