I hired this company to survey a two parcel, 10.5 acre tract I purchased back in April. I sent them a deed with legal description, a plat and specific limited written authority to survey just my property using only the legal description contained in the deed. They didn't. The owner, who is also the county surveyor, (conflict of interest anyone?) pulled deeds from the entire area and surveyed that whole tract at my expense. He began his work, not with the established markers of my property, but two parcels to the west surveying his way towards my land insuring the acreage of the other landowners as he went.. By the time he got to my property he deemed it to be only 5.5 acres. I payed this company $1,500 to get screwed out of 5 acres. Unless you're a well connected "Good 'ole Boy" in Cherokee County I would not recommend using them.
