Absolutely terrible service! We had to wait 15 minutes just to be seated when there were empty seats all over the place. Our drinks stayed empty most of the meal. We didn't get some of the food we ordered. It took FOREVER to get the food they actually brought us. I had to send back a sushi roll because it literally had more spicy mayo on top of it than there actually was sushi. They didn't offer to bring me something else instead, didn't even apologize for the food being inedible. And then they refused to take the sushi roll off of my ticket and argued with me about it. I was here on my lunch break and it took us about an hour and a half start to finish to get all of our food and get our tickets. Never in my life have I eaten somewhere with such awful customer service that they refuse to fix your order or ticket for food that you send back for being inedible. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! I will not be going back!

This place used to be our favorite. We would eat there at least two days a week at $40 a pop. When they started opening the Conway location and the young man who ran it left to go there things went bad really quickly. Needless to say we refuse to eat here and tell anyone who will listen about our experiences. If you want your food cooked wrong like a burned steak or burned rice then this is the place for you! Just try to send it back to have it re-cooked......they will bring it back to you and tell you that it was not burned and is cooked just like it should be. The older woman who is the "manager" was the common denominator for both of our visits which seemed to be identical. First time was the rice and the second time was well done steak (which I ordered medium rare.) Oumami = FAIL

After driving Scenic Hwy 7 to Russelville, one of the most beautiful stretches of road I've ever traveled, a local told us about Umami Sushi & Grill. We had an great dining experience, the sushi is outstanding and the staff rocks. Our sushi chefs, Chan and Ismael, were amazing and truly made dining there an even better experience. They whipped up a dish just for us to enjoy after preparing our actual order (something new and that I've never seen on the menu) and even made us a beautiful 'cat' dessert. Will be traveling back just for this place.

One of the most amazing places to eat in town. If you love real authentic delicious sushi than I highly recommend eating here. Amazing service with a swanky modern atmosphere.
