Find out more about our Design-To-Learn Services Little Learners Studio values the importance of preparing your child for future academic success while fostering a love of learning Little Learners Kinder-Prep program is designed to prepare children who will be entering Kindergarten the following school year. Direct instruction and discovery play will prepare children by supporting their development in the following areas: letter recognition, letter-sound association, pre-reading skills, and writing development. Additionally, children will participate in pro-social activities pertaining to math, science, and the arts. Masters level teachers will work with children individually and in small groups. It is never too early to start preparing your child for success in school. Little Learners Prep program is designed to support preschool-aged children in developing the skills that they will need for Pre-K and Kindergarten. As a precursor to our Kinder-Prep program, children will receive direct instruction and will engage in discovery play in the following areas: letter recognition, letter-sound association, pre-reading skills, and writing development. Additionally, children will participate in pro-social activities pertaining to math, science, and the arts. Two Masters level teachers will work with children individually and in small groups Little Learners Toddler Tuesdays program is designed to create an opportunity for parents and caregivers of toddlers to interact with their children in a fun and educational way. Multi-sensory programming will support children in the following areas: fine/gross motor development, socialization, language/literacy, and sensory integration. The children will engage in hands-on activities that will incorporate music, movement, story telling, science, and art. Additionally parents and caregivers will receive one (90 minute) "adults only" workshop focused on a topic specific to the overall development of young children. Topics will vary over the course of our four 10-week sessions. Little Learners Workshop Wednesdays program is an excellent way to engage your child in a fun, social and educational way after school. During each 10-week session, children will explore a variety of concepts while interacting with specialized materials in a hands-on way. Little Learner's Musical Movers program allows children to bring songs to life as they learn new and engaging lyrics while performing creative and choreographed movements right along with them. Through music and dance the children will work on developing valuable readiness skills including: rhyming, counting, patterning, sequencing and more!
