Robert Auerbach, MD is a graduate of Vassar College, where he received a degree in Biochemistry with general and departmental honors. He received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate, followed by two years of internal medical training at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC and an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Auerbach is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Nassau County Medical Society, and an associate member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He specializes in general ophthalmology, adolescent ophthalmology and lens fitting. Dr. Auerbach is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
