On June 8th my wife went into Avis because her car at Hertz was not there. She went over to Avis and asked if they could match hertz price. She requested to decline all insurance and wanted to return the car on the 19th. Evidently to match the price the counterperson put down the return date as the 15th instead of the 19th. He also snuck in the loss damage waiver. My wife initialed and signed without reading what he did. So we were charged $187 in loss damage insurance and $ 40 dollars a day late charge for bring it after the 15th. Called customer service and they were completely rude asked for superior and was told they are as far as I was going to get. I decided to check the internet and found this is common practice. Beware and always read the contract before signing
