The California Pollution Control Financing Authority provides California businesses with a method of financing pollution control facilities. The authority has implemented the Sustainable Communities Grant and Loan Program to assist cities and counties develop and implement sustainable development growth policies, programs and projects. Its program funds complete specific plans, portions of plans, alternative transportation and engineering studies, finance and redevelopment plans. The California Pollution Control Financing Authority has been operational for more than 30 years and serves the solid waste industry through its Pollution Control Tax-Exempt Bond Program. For small businesses, the authority offers the California Capital Access Program.
