SacrAMENITIES, the department of convention, culture and leisure, has been operational for more than 45 years. Located in Sacramento, Calif., the department oversees the functioning of various tourist attractions and entertainment destinations. It handles the activities of the city golf course, Crocker Art Museum, Discovery Museum, Fairytale Town, Sacramento City Cemetery, archives and museum collection center, convention center, marina, local zoo and Metropolitan Arts Commission. SacrAMENITIES offers more than 100 year-round programs and services for youth and adult residents, including summer playgrounds, teen trip adventure, sports mania, team sports instruction, swimming activities, adult fitness, hiking and sport programs, and adult and family trips.
