Provided by YPmobileWe had a fun time there except it was very cold and I had to wear my jacket almost the whole time. The service was good even though it was busy.

Provided by YP.comSo you have to go if you're on K Street at night because there is no cover charge and where else are you going to see a flippin' mermaid?! However, now that I have been, I don't know that I need to go again. Once you get over the mermaid swimming around above the bar, it's just a plain old bar with kind of a funny smell and sticky floors. For the bar itself, I ordered the same drink from 2 different bartenders (rum and diet). One charged me $8 and it was pretty strong. The other charged $7 and it was weak. Could we split the difference and make it just a solid single shot within a Diet Coke?
Also, my compliments to the guy working the door. He had a line of 30+ people, making it look like the place was packed. It was not.

Provided by YP.comThis place is like a fantastic place for adults. They have sports and food and alcohol. There is nothing better than that combination!

Provided by YPmobileA group of friends and I went to sac to watch the fight and hang out... I read the last review while looking up the address... After reading it i thought this cant be right, so we went over there anyway... And to my amazement the exact same thing happened to us. I cant believe that the people of Sacramento tolerate that kind of Racial discrimination. I have a lot of friends that have been talking about going out there just to go to the dive bar, i have and will continue to speak the cold hard nasty truth about that place! DO NOT Waste your money and support those ignorant business owners... And shame on the people who work there turning a blind eye to this kind of ignorance!!!

Provided by YP.comMy white boyfriend, a few of my female friends and myself got in without a problem. However, my friend, who happens to be Black, was rejected. He was told his pants were too big. That's not true; he was dressed very nice with tight fitting clothing, nice dress shoes, and a collared plaid shirt. There were several white men inside with baggy jeans in casual attire (hoodie sweater and sneakers). When I asked the bouncer why he let them in, he sarcastically said, "oh, it must have slipped my mind." He didn't let four other Black men in either. After personally speaking with the bouncer Leeroy and the manager Dave, it was evident they were racists! This place is going to close soon! Discrimination based on race, or any other factor is completely unacceptable!
