Over 33 years ago I developed hydrocephalus while playing in the NFL and underwent 3 emergency VP Shunt brain surgeries and several gran mal seizures in an 8 month period. Dr. Cobb stepped in after I was brought in in a coma when my first shunt failed while in Mexico in 1982. Since that time I have undergone a total of 9 emergency VP shunt brain surgeries and several gran mal seizures. Dr Cobb has not only been a consumate professional, he has taken the time to engage my family during many of the emergencies.
