I wasn't planning to buy lunch but a homeless, hungry, diabetic man asked for some food and not cash. I went to El Faro across the way and spoke to the owner Hugo about the situation and asked him to pay for half the meal for the hungry guy and I would pay for half and by myself a meal for his kindness in helping out. Hugo said I did not need to buy myself a meal and he bought the guy some healthy food that would not hinder blood sugar issues. I went ahead and bought myself a burrito as a good will/thank you gesture which was out of this world. Excellent seasoning, tender chicken, great proportions. I will now be a regular supporter b/c of the owner's good deed and b/c the food and service are excellent. Please show your support for El Faro and Hugo, we need more like this to help out those who for whatever reason have lost their way!

Great Place, Good Beans

Exactly what you'd expect from a small tacqueria, which is a good thing. I really like their refried beans, too many places use black beans in their burritos and I don't like that. Portions are perfect, burritos are nice and big. Enchiladas good as well. This place won't blow you away but it also won't disappoint.

Great Flavor

My husband and I ordered burritos from El Faro this evening and we both loved it. The chicken was tender and flavorfull, the prices are good and the location is ideal for us. We'll definately be back.
