WORST EXPERIENCE AT SACRAMENTO HARLEY DEALERSHIP
I purchased a Road glide CVO Screaming Eagle from this dealership in April 2013, for $43,000.00. A few days later I informed the dealer I have a family Emergency, and
My down payment would not clear my bank for $10,000 because I needed funds for death in the family, they informed me they could not take the Bike back FOR THE ORIGINAL COST, however they will have to take it back at $28,000, when the Bike was 3 days old with 50 miles. The General Manager John Lund said, " we would report the check to check system and file report with D.A's office". My mother had just passed away, and needed the down payment money to cover funeral cost. The check cleared for $10,000 with my Bank and I did not have enough money to bury my mother, so I had to have her cremated. The cold hearted sales manager Allen Casner at the dealer, said I am just out of luck, there is nothing he can do. The dealer refused to unwind/cancel the deal on a Sunday, and the Bike was purchased on a Friday, they claim it's was already paid for by Harley Finance. My mother passing away and money needed for burial expenses was not a good reason to unwind the deal.
The sales manager Mr. Casner, said to sell the Bike, however the Bike was so overpriced, everyone including Harley dealerships and EBAY offered a max of $28,000 for the CVO Roadglide.
They are cold and calculating group and they only care about ripping off Innocent customers and securing the highest bottom line profit This is my worst experience ever at a Harley dealership. I have owned 5 Motorcycles, spend well over $150,000 with Harley over the past 5 years, and I will never purchased another Harley again. This experience has caused my family so much pain and suffering
As of today May 1st, I was told by the Owner of Sac Harley, they can do consignment for 30 days, however anything earned above the payoff of $33,000 will go the dealer, and so they are getting paid commission twice for the same Bike, they claim they cannot sell the Bike for no more than $32k because its used with 50 miles, . WOW!! however they sold it to me 4 weeks ago for $43,000, and tell me it's the hottest bike, 110th anniversary, CVO, Sceamin eagle, they only receive 6 of these bikes per year and high demand, but now they can't sell beyond $32k, this is what the Owner of Sacramento Harley told me on a conference call at 1:30 PST 5/1/2013. What a scam!!
