Honest engine is located about 4 blocks from my home. I always drive by, but didnt think about stoping untill my car had a issue. I brought the car in with a few problems and they began servicing the vehicle. They call for pick up 1 week later, I go and pay, and durring the drive home, after they have closed it starts acting up. I take the car back. Another week. They begin to start adding more parts and labor to the list. Finally, after spending over $2,000 they wanted 1hrs labor to install a battery that I had to go and exchange at a local parts store on my own. AND THE CAR STILL DOSENT RUN RIGHT!!!



I go back inside after I installed the battery on my own, their obnoxious mechanic calls me a liar, the manager of the shop was unhelpful in calming his employee down. I take my car home. Take it to another shop in rancho cordova, Honest engine left vaccume lines off, they installed a faulty optispark ignition system and a cheap waterpump.



Another $1,000 later my car is running fine.



After exchanging my thoughts with other people, I can see why they are called "DIS-honest engine".



If you want to throw money away, and get treated terribly, this is the shop to go to!!

They were the only shop to let me drop off the car on a busy day, then they did a great job-quickly-at a great price! Centrally located to home at work.
