Loretto High School, located in Sacramento, Calif., is a private school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The institution is a Catholic, all-girls college-preparatory high school that has a student strength of more than 500 students. The students interact with teachers on a frequent level and theology classes are required in every year of study. The Loretto service requirement involves students in community service every year. In the senior year, the students have to complete 50 hours of community service. The school also offers a summer service program where students travel to distant communities to understand poverty and people in need. Loretto High School additionally offers various sports activities, such as water polo, tennis, golf, cross country, volleyball, basketball, swimming, diving, track, soccer and softball.
