The Planning and Conservation League is a nonprofit lobbying organization. It works in the State Legislature and at the administrative level in state government to enact as well as implement policies to protect and restore the California environment. The organization has affiliation with the National Wildlife Federation. The Planning and Conservation League has six program areas that include coastal watersheds, global warming, land use/CEQA, public health, Sierra Nevada and water policy. The organization is located in Sacramento, Calif.
