PJ did our engagement star tattoos in 1994! My husband, Jerry is a Healer and also wanted the Native American symbolic feather and PJ did it freehand! It still looks great today! We are still excited to show people our Wedding Stars! They are very special to us and it was wonderful to watch an artist at work!

He did my tattoo from a verbal description of my concept. The result is an outstanding tattoo that I am very proud of!

PJ has been putting ink on me for over 25 years, and I am a loyal client. His staff uses the best equiptment and practices the highest standard of cleanliness. The artwork that comes out of the Back Door Studio is second to none.

Professionalism at its best with a very friendly smile

I met PJ in 2000 and had my first tattoo of a darling little red heart on my

shoulder blade put on that same year.

In 2002, I had an adorable free form butterfly put on my left ankle.

It's colors are awesome. I had not a bit of problem with either tattoo.

The colors are beautiful and I've had no fading at all.

What I like best about the Back Door Studio is it is prestinely clean and

sanitary.

PJ is the best. When you are at the Back Door Studio you are treated like

family and with dignity.

I've been going to PJ since 1992; my wife has since 1991. I brought in my own art the first time I went and I couldn't believe how he took it and just made it come alive on my skin. I've been to numerous tattoo shows and compaired his work to other artists world wide; he does some of the best floral work I've ever seen. His understanding of different skin types and use of color is really quite amazing. My mother-in-law has been to him and many of my friends and they continue to refer their friends to him. What greater compliment could be paid to an artist than to carry his work on your body for life and feel comfortable and confident enough to recommend the same to your friends and family. He has the experience, knowledge and talent second to none in the greater Sacramento area.

I have been a customer of the Backdoor Studio for many years. Every time I go there I am treated respectfully and the staff take the time to work with me on my design. The owner/tattoo artist pays close attention to cleanliness. He is a very creative and talented artist. He often gives much better than clients ask for. Great place to get a quality tattoo.

PJ is just the best around, fun guy to talk to and an exceptional artist. not only has he done most of my work , he is now doing work on all three of my daughters.
