Provided by YPmobileWow! One of the best places to eat. Served in courses. Cheese with bread and veggies to dip in it then you can choice your dinner and cook it yourself in oil or broth. Then you ca get several kinds of dessert dips to go with fruit! Not a place to go in a hurry though. Can take 2 hours to eat dinner. It is slow eating but very worth it.

Provided by YP.comThis is one of my favorite places for a special occasion. You come for the experience for sure. The food is great but the atmosphere and experience is what keeps us coming back. Beware...it's not cheap! But worth it.

Provided by YP.comI was so sad when their Rocklin location closed, but it is worth the drive downtown. I took my daughter and her friends here for chocolate fondu and they had an amazing experience! Try the S'more fondu!!

Provided by YPmobileHad a gift certificate so decided to give this place a try. It was good and filling. Our server was tremendous but it is a little pricey for what you get. I would go back if I had a certificate again but probably not with my own dollar.

Provided by YP.comJust had a horrendous experience at the melting pot Sacramento!
Went there to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary, got a certificate via e mail for free chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary... We are also dip rewards members and rack up a lot of points as we love this place usually and I crave it a lot now that I'm pregnant. We also have a passport dining card that gives us 20% off our bill. This is a paid membership card that the melting pot chooses to participate in. It is not a free coupon or promotion, it is a paid membership card! Well Casey Brown the restaurant manager decided she would not allow us to use our earned $20 dip rewards points with our passport membership card.
We have always combined these, and don't always have earned dip rewards points, but when we do we should be allowed to use them. When Casey came over to our table to tell us we could not use both she was extremely rude! She said "choose one!" Very rudely! When I attempted to explain that the passport membership was a paid discount and not a free coupon or free offer, she did not care. She dropped our card and dip rewards coupon on the table and walked away!
The story gets worse! Casey then had our server come over to tell is, oh and you will need to give back those chocolate covered strawberries we gave you for your anniversary because those were an offer as well and cannot be combined with anything! Wow! Casey obviously really wanted to upset an 8 month pregnant lady! I vow to contact the president of this company over how Casey treated us! We have been loyal customers for years, coming in probably once a month, spending over $100 each time! And this is how Casey has decided to treat her loyal customers!
We will NEVER be back! I will make my own fondue before I give my business to a place that employs a manager like that! I am in shock!

Provided by YP.comMyself & 5 other friends arrived around 8:05 for our 8:30 reservations, & after being seated AFTER 9pm our waiter spilled a fresh glass of wine all over my friend, our table, IN our pot of cheese, & even on the burner! After waiting @ least 30 mins just for drinks, we then waited for our pot of cheese to be remade. Granted, the salads & desserts were delicious, they can't carry a $260 bill! Then came the entrees & out walks 6 plates or RAW meat & 3 pots to cook them ALL (seafood, poultry, beef, etc) in. Let's just say I was "praying to the porcelin God" after this meal..NO BUENO melting pot! Service was EXTREMLY delayed, & their excuses for the wait are pathetic. Due to all of their delays, our meal didn't conclude untill MIDNIGHT..they close @ 10! We had the wrong menus (they brought us childrens menus), there was a raffle that night as well, our waitor never came back to collect our tix so we missed out on that opportunity, & those "strongly suggested" reservations they encourage are POINTLESS, you're still pretty much guaranteed a wait of some sort. Def will NOT be back for a round two!
