Vitafreze Frozen Confections is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crystal Cream & Butter Company. Crystal Cream & Butter bottles more than 50 million gallons of milk each year. Vitafreze produces an assortment of stick novelties, ice cream cups, ice cream sandwiches, flat-top ice cream cones, ice cream pints and three gallon tubs of ice cream. The most popular stick novelties Vitafreze produces include fudge bars, Tutones, Krunch Bars and Astronot pops. The company was founded in 1933. The founder of Vitafreze also invented the Vitaline, a machine that automated the production of ice cream novelties. Vitafreze Frozen Confections is based in Sacramento, Calif.
