I have been going to this local, family owned business for years! The food is authentic and fantastic. We have celebrated birthdays, graduations, baptisms, even had them cater a family funeral.

Definitely more authentic Mexican food than say, Garcia's. Homemade tortillas! The place is pretty big inside. And on certain days they BBQ the meats.

Xochimilco is that hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant you hope to find. When we lived nearby, my daughter and I made it "our" restaurant... always sat in the same place, ordered the same thing, new the staff by name. Twice now I have meet people who wanted to show me their favorite restaurant that "nobody knows about," and both times it turned out to be this place!



Super grubbin' food, giant portions, and delicious! I recommend the steak rancheros. Spoon some of it into the homemade tortillas and learn what heaven tastes like.



The only downside is the parking lot and less than great intersection/neighborhood.



The owners also travel to farmers' markets and set up a booth with a limited menu. It isn't nearly as good as the brick and mortar location, but it's still ok.

Good food! All authentic. They make homemade flour tortillas that are so good, warm with butter. Bean dip is good with lots of cheese.

Horrible don't come here if u have allergies

My wife and I were invited to a surprise birthday party here. The honoree was surprised by the guests, we were surprised by the delicious and bountiful Mexican food. The portions were very large and the price was very small, but most of all, the food was delicious and the homemade flour tortillas will keep me coming back.

We love eating here!!! We always order the super burrito and split for the portions are huge. Order bean and cheese dip with your chips! Also, the homemade flour tortillas are fantastic. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

I have been going to Xochimilco for years now, so that in itself should tell you something...They're the real deal! You can't find a better plate of Mexican food anywhere. Oh, there are some who compete...SOME, not many...No one has a better menu for the price, and those that do are probably family! I am getting ready to go there for a big plate of the best, and a Tecate on tap...Friday's are fantastic at Xochimilco! Try it! I bet you'll agree!

My family and I have been following this restaurant since it's roots in Stockton, Ca. The food is always fresh. The atmosphere pleasant and always clean. I would recommend this establishment to one and all. The homemade flour tortillas are the best I have ever had. I have also had them cater many of my parties and get togethers and they have always put on a good spread.

For very authentic Mexican food go to Xochimilco Restaurant on Auburn Blvd at College Oak Drive. Their chile relleno's are the BEST! You know they are the best because you can see the stem from the chile is still attached. But everything is very good, right down to the homemade flour tortillas! You will not be disappointed.

My Family and I have been eating at Xochimilco resturant for twenty years and have introduced many friends and family member to this wonderful establishment. We have enjoyed excellent food, friendly family atmosphere and the Friday night Mariachi band that plays songs on request. We have celebrated birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries for years. A great place to go for couples or the whole gang.
