Awesome pet store with all the choices and knowable staff!

Been going there for years, great service and selection. We got our hedghog from them and continue to get supplies (food, treats) weekly. Also the owner is more knowledgeable than any vet especially when it comes to exotic animals. A local vet couldn't get one of our lizards feeling better but taking ocean odysseys advice did the trick.

I stopped in for some feeder crickets. After remarking that I had got a hundred for 4 bucks at the reptile show, (His were $1.29 a DOZEN) he grabbed me by the shoulders and tried to push me out the door! I separated from him and asked if he had lost his mind, and he replied," Well if you're going to insult my store". I told him that you don't put your hands on ANYBODY,especially a customer, and that I'd been coming there for years. I told him I'd never return and he replied with, "We don't need you".

I believe this man is suffering from some kind of malady or early stage dementia, and should not be working with the public. He came from behind the counter and stood extremely close to me when I asked about his prices. I avoided this place for years because any mention of another pet store would result in a ten minute rant from the owner.

He needs professional help.

I bought a "chorkie" puppy here. This puppy grew to be upwards of 30 lbs and absolutely is NOT a chorkie. My veterinarian and anyone who saw my puppy agreed that he did not look at all like a chorkie. When the owner, Dominic D'Amore, was confronted regarding this. He immediately got defensive and proceeded to tell me how he was a doctor and he knew everything about dogs and then began to trash talk my veterinarian. Although during this conversation he said he had gotten an infection from a surgery that "fried my brain" so seems odd that he would be able to say that he knows everything about these dogs when for one, he supposedly went to medical school, not veterinary school. When asked for the breeder information for his chorkie puppies he ignored me. I would not buy from him again. He is a terrible, terrible person in my eyes. BUYERS BEWARE!! Save yourself a headache.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PET SHOP TO GO TO, THE PERSONAL FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EMPLOYEES BRINGS ME BACK IN TIME AND AGAIN.
